This is the first draft of a proposed logo for a 501 c 3 non-profit organization. Both the Executive Director of Historic Roads and Corridors and I liked the design, however there was one small problem, the vintage auto used is a Ford product. This logo would be unacceptable to other automobile manufactures, especially if historic preservation grants were being applied for from them. The Ford, though an antique vehicle, poses a brand recognition problem. A new design for the logo was needed. That's the beauty of Adobe Illustrator files, they are easy to change if need be.

The new design. As far as I know there are no more Conestoga Wagon makers around anymore to cause the brand recognition problem with this logo.
